            In the reading for today I really enjoyed the story about Aung San Suu Kyi. She was under house arrest during the prize rewarding ceremony and her son had to accept the award on her behalf. Aung San Suu Kyi turned many heads and made her self well known. Being the first person to ever exept a Nobel prize under house arrest shocked many, and made an impact on the world.                                                                    Dalai Lama
The Dalai Lama is a spiritual leader. His main goal was to free Tibet. He came up with a five point peace plan for Tibet. He envisioned the Tibet would become a a zone for peace in Asia. China has no positive responses to the Dalai Lamas peace proposals. The FIve point peace proposal contained turning Tibet into a peace zone, abandoning chinas population transfer policy, respect of the Tibetian peoples rights, restoration and protect of TibetS enviorment, change the relationship between the Tibetans and the Chinese. China makes their selves look bad for not accepting the Five point peace plan, the Dalai Lama is trying to bring peace and china is refusing.
