  1. I really like how you guys put the speech at the beginning of your presentation. Also an example of one of his fire side speeches.

  2. Very good use of sound bites let us hear how great of a speaker FDR was. I would like to know just a little more on what he did and how long it took to help bring the great depression down.

  3. I really liked how you touched up on the topic in which FDR had polio and how he made it into a positive thing and was still be able to be a great leader.

  4. After listening to this presentation it is hard to say FDR was anything less than a great man. The facts and information that you two provided was interesting and engaging. Only critique I have is it seemed to have a lack of critical thinking as to what exactly made him iconic. It was easy to make the conclusions from the information provided but it was not elaborated on.

  5. Thank you fellas! I learned a lot here that I never knew before! I thought that the slide presentation was great. Also, I enjoyed learning about the "Fireside Chats," I also would love to see any president do such a thing as that. Nowadays, it seems as though our politicians are so hard to connect with, often distant. They don't seem to rule with the consent of the governed and often only seem to notice us when it's election time sadly. I thought you did an outstanding job!

  6. I found the fireside chats to be the most interesting piece of the presentation. It is hard to fathom these days that a president would take the time to go on radio to give valuable information to people who would otherwise be left in the dark. I know there are a lot more outlets for information today than there were in the 1930s and 1940s, so the necessity isn't there, but it was still really cool and informative. Great job!

  7. I really learned a lot about FDR from this presentation. With such an amazing man and everything he did its hard to fit it into a presentation and I think you guys did a great job. I found it interesting how 80% of the words FDR used in his fireside chats were very common words. Nice Job!

  9. I like how FDR did the fireside chats. These were probably very helpful during the time. I also like how he made the fireside chats very understandable for the common, uneducated people of the time. Good job.

  10. Very good job on this presentation! I loved all of the clips and videos you guys used. Made it really easy to understand the importance of the Fireside chats. I wish presidents to this day still cared to communicate with us about what was going on in the war, economy and so fourth. Not try to hide things or keep things from us. It seemed like the Fireside chats did a great job with this. Very interesting, thank you.

  11. The fireside chats by far is my favorite piece in your presentation, the videos and clips really helped to understand what the meaning was behind them.
