  1. I really liked how you guys put in some statistics from Ohio in your presentation. It made the presentation a little more real.

  3. Great presentation, glad you guys included Ohio in some of the WPA facts. The fact that the WPA employeed 173,000 people in Ohio and that 150,000 of them were teaching jobs is very interesting.

  4. Overall I really liked this presentation. Giving both the positives and critiques of this program made it easy to understand and informative. The only critique I have is there were not many conclusions made. What I mean is the reactions of the people were explained brilliantly but what makes those reactions and emotions significant was not clearly stated.

  5. Thanks guys, your work here was greatly appreciated. I truly enjoyed the parts dealing with Ohio in particular. It really hit home. It's hard to get my mind around the fact that at one point 25% of our population was without work! 25%! That is unfathomable! And it's encouraging to see programs such as the WPA rise out of the ashes and make a change. I also enjoyed connecting the WPA and it's value back in the early part of the 20th century to what it's potential would be to succeed in the 21st century. Well done!

  6. Nice presentation. I found it amazing that the WPA created 8 million jobs and that 1 in 4 people were affected by the WPA. Its just amazing that this was able to help so many people. Very good presentation!

  7. Good presentation. I liked how you applied the idea of the WPA to today. I agree that it wouldn't be as effective as it was then, but I still think that it would be very helpful. The only thing that i thing you could work on was explaining how the WPA ended.
