  1. I thought their presentation was very interesting. Of all the people that worked on the building only 5 of them died. It is a terrible and tragic event when someone dies but it is very impressive that the death rate during construction was so low. I also liked how Michael and Mark put information of how those people died. I thought that was very cleaver for them.

  2. Nice work guys! I thought the fact that it was built in such a short amount of time was astonishing.

Improvements- I still have no idea what actually goes on in this building. Forgive me if you addressed this topic and I missed it.

  3. Good presentation! Well organized.
You guys could of maybe related it to The Great Depression just a little more in depth but it was a great presentation with awesome details on the building itself.

  4. I think that you guys had some great facts about the building its self. However i did notice that you studdered quite a bit on certain things like you both werent on the same page. besides those two things i really enjoyed the presantion

  5. I enjoyed the knowledge gained from your presentation. I enjoyed the video you incorporated. I also thought it was very interesting that the last rivet was made of pure gold. Shows a great deal of pride in the building. The images were great as well.

  6. Really good presentation, very informational. I liked how the building has a lightening rod and that it gets struck so often throughout the year. Improvement- Could have said more facts on why it was iconic.

  7. I found a couple things very interesting! I thought it was crazy that The Empire State Building gets struck by lightening about 100 times per year. I also found it to be very interesting that there were only 5 deaths during the building process of The Empire State Building. Being that the building was so tall you would think that there would be many more deaths from people falling off the building and so fourth. those are just a couple things that I found to stand out and grab my attention the most.

  8. i thought it was a great presentation and i learned a lot of great facts about the empire state building and the construction to make it. The only thing i would of liked to learn a little bit more about was about the guy who wanted to build it.

  9. The presentation was really interesting and has a lot of good information. I was really shocked that only five people died while making this building. Also, the video was great too because it shows the structure of the building.

  10. I thought your presentation was put together well. I liked that you put little mini facts, and has alot of numbers regarding to the creation of the building. It was amazing how well the building was built with less technology today.
Improvements- I agree with Nick, possibly you could had added what goes on inside the building.

  11. All of the factual information was interesting, especially the fact that the building was completed in only 410 days. The statement about how this building and the Chrysler building were started in response to Eiffel Tower kind of represents the U.S.'s competitive nature. As far as explaining how iconic the building was, there could have been more development. There were some good ideas that were presented but could have been developed more; for example, the fact that the building served as a source of pride for the state and the country as a whole.

  12. I enjoyed all of the pictures and the facts shared. I learned a lot, there was so much that I never knew about! Especially how many times a year that the "lightning rod of New York City" is struck on average each year. I found it to be very interesting about the military plane crashing into the Empire State Building, I wonder how in the world that happened!

The only thing I can be annal about what be that it might have been a little too much reading from the slides? (Again I'm just trying to find something for creative criticism.) But, then again a topic such as a building and its construction often times entails a lot of facts. I also enjoyed the explanation for why this building is an American Icon.

    Well done!

  13. To start out I would like to say you two did great. The hope Americans got from the jobs from the jobs they had to do probably really helped people through the Great Depression. The fact that the building was built in only a year and was the tallest I agree was a confidence boost and boosted pride in Americans. Now when it comes to the two of you presenting, it was really good. I enjoyed the details about the building and I felt as though you two had a true interest in the topic which added to the presentation overall. The only criticism I can find is the conclusion was a little weak but it was understood that the presentation was coming to an end by the audience so it is not a big deal. Great Job!
